# BaseVol Points

{% hint style="info" %}
To reduce confusion, Trading and Referral activities on BaseVol are now recorded as "Score." "Points" after Mainnet refer to credits earned through farming & used for Mystery Boxes.

For info on Score, visit [this page](/docs/overview/basevol-score.md).
{% endhint %}

BaseVol is already a fun game itself, but we want to keep you even more engaged through **Points**. While Score checks your long-term contribution to BaseVol, Points will serve as instant rakebacks for your BaseVol activities.

You can exchange points for Mystery Boxes, which include USDC Coupon rewards and more!!

Wanna check out how many points you have? Head over to your Dashboard page.

### How to Earn Points? <a href="#how-to-earn-points" id="how-to-earn-points"></a>

**1. Connect Telegram**

Link your Telegram in "Dashboard" and receive 10,000 Points as a welcome gift!

**2. Trade**

Make trades on our ‘1 Hour Option’ product to gain Points. This is the fastest and most efficient way to stack Points! Remember once again that **Points** are different from **Score**

* 1 Day & 1 Hour
  * 1 Order Unit Filled = 500 Points
  * 1 Order Unit Filled with **Deposits** = 2,000 Points - *(4x Points!)*
* 1 Min
  * $1 Order Filled = 100 Points

{% hint style="info" %}
***Why?***

*The order size of ‘1 Hour’ trades is fixed at $100. Regardless of your order price, 1 unit of trade is recognized as $100.*

*Under this setup, both ITM trades (orders with a high probability to win; likely to be priced higher) and OTM trades (orders with a low probability to win; likely to be priced lower) will be treated equally important in BaseVol Points scheme.*
